Publication ethics and publication malpractice statement
The Acta Biologica Marisiensis (ABM) is an Open Access journal. All articles are available free in both print (ISSN: 2601 – 6141) and electronic (ISSN-L: 2601 – 6141) form for a non-commercial purpose.
The journal does not have article processing charges, neither article submission charges.
Therefore, authors are asked to indicate their agreement to abide by an open-access license. The license permits any user to download, print out, extract, archive, and distribute the article, so long as appropriate credit is given to the authors and source of the work. The license ensures that your article will be as widely available as possible and that your article can be included in any scientific archive.
The editors assume that all author(s) listed in a manuscript have agreed with the following policy of the ABM on its submission. If an author(s) should be added or deleted after submission of the manuscript, it is the responsibility of the corresponding author to ensure that the author(s) involved are aware of and agree to the change in the authorship. The ABM has no responsibility for such changes.
The articles submitted to ABM must be previously unpublished and not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Reviewers will be asked to comment on the overlap between related submissions.
The ABM journal, reviews all the submitted manuscripts. Only manuscripts with positive referee reviews are acceptable for publication in ABM, in both print and electronic forms for non-commercial purposes.
All research studies involving human subjects must have received approval of the appropriate institutional ethics committee and informed consent must be obtained from all the patients participating in the studies, prior to manuscript submission.
In cases where the institutional ethics review committee ruled that approval from them was not required or that the need for informed consent was unnecessary, a statement from the committee to this end should be forwarded to the Editor with the manuscript.
